From the moment I began my study of Tarot, I longed to create a modern and relatable Tarot deck. Years later, with a love of the city and divine inspiration in hand, I set out on a wild, year-long journey of creation, the product of which was the simple-to-use Portland Tarot Major Arcana deck.
I will unveil her process of creation in this class, tell the story of the deck, and share some tools and ideas that both beginners and experienced readers can use to deepen their relationship with Tarot.
In this workshop, I will:

reveal the process I used in creating her Portland Tarot deck and how the Universe conspired to aid me in my work.

tell some magical stories about the people in her cards, and how they are connected to the cards’ meanings.

give an overview of the logistics of reading, with a focus on The Portland Tarot and using a Major Arcana deck.

teach you some basic guidelines to use when reading, to keep your practice playful and productive over the years.

teach you how to use Tarot in your way, and work with it to strengthen your intuition.

be available for questions during an interactive reading clinic at the end.
There will be a break for lunch (bring your own or contribute to the potluck).

Note: Much of the class will be geared towards using The Portland Tarot, but you may use whatever deck you like to follow along.
